
Widespread Flooding Occurring Across Deep East Texas
Heavy overnight rains combined with an already saturated Pineywoods have led to widespread flooding across the area. A Flash Flood Warning was issued overnight for Angelina and Nacogdoches counties as over 5 inches of rain has fallen throughout the area.
Here are a few of the flooded roadways reported by the Texas Department of Transportation as of 9:15 a.m.

TRINITY COUNTY
- FM 357 at Cribb Creek
- FM 1280 at White Rock Creek
HOUSTON COUNTY
- US 287 North, various locations
- SH 21 West near Grapeland
- FM 1272
- FM 1280
- FM 229
- FM 228
- Trees reported down on: FM 232 and SH 7 West
These are just a few of the problem spots in East Texas this Tuesday morning. Many other county roads, FM roads, and others may have water over them. Travel is discouraged. Please be extremely careful and slow down if travel is necessary.
