At 6 feet, 9 inches tall, Hudson's Justin Forrest is a big young man.  But that's nothing compared to his big smile, big personality, and big enthusiasm for Hudson Basketball.  And, none of all that compares to Justin's big heart.

Forrest is a senior at Hudson High School who is diagnosed with autism.  He has been a manager on the basketball team for the past two years, and with no disrespect  to the state champion Hudson Cheerleaders, Justin is the most enthusiastic cheerleader the Hornets have ever had.

He is always the first to show up at practice and the last to leave.  He is a very hard worker, but Hudson's Homecoming King for 2017 had never taken to the court in an actual basketball game.  That all changed on Hudson's senior night game against Jasper.  Forrest was introduced as one of the five Hornet starters and when the game got underway, he was fed a pass under the basket.  The only question now was would Justin make the shot?
