Flooding Expected Across East Texas Through Friday Morning
New Year...Same Forecast...WET!
Yup, another round of downpours are possible across the Pineywoods through Thursday, and that could compound the flooding issues that are already in place. Up to 5 inches of rain could fall across parts of Deep East Texas which has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a Flash Flood Watch for the area until Friday morning at 6 a.m. Counties to the south of Angelina have a Flash Flood Watch in place through Thursday at noon.
No severe storms are expected with this weather system. Plus, it looks like we should have a nice weekend with clear skies and high temperatures in the 50s and 60s.
