Brandon Belt, who played his high school ball at Hudson, will be the first to tell you that his offensive numbers so far this season are not where he wants them to be.

Maybe things are looking up...as in up, and out of the ball park.

The San Francisco first baseman was mired in a home run drought until last night's game at home against the Houston Astros.  In the 8th inning, Belt took an 0-1 pitch and drove it high and out of the park, straight into the water of McCovey Cove.

The Giants won the game 6-2.
