The Huntington High School Red Devil Band will be hosting their 1st Annual Car Show, Saturday, November 18 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Huntington High School located at 952 South Gibson Street.

Classic vehicles from the 1920s all the way to the 1990s will be on display and vying for trophies. The judges for this first-year event will be Shane Stover, Caleb Bristow, and Dennis Reynolds. Entry fee to compete is $25 per vehicle.

Check-in begins a 8 a.m. and the show starts at 10 a.m. with the playing of the Star Spangled Banner by the Huntington High School Band.  Awards will be presented at 1 p.m. There will also be a special performance by Logan Tucker.

Burger baskets for $10 and Renfro baskets for $6 will be among the food items for sale at this fundraiser. There will also be numerous vendors on hand. Some of these vendors will be selling items that would make great and unique Christmas gifts.

All proceeds from this event will be used to help the Huntington High School band towards their goal of playing with the Houston Symphonic Band, plus taking a trip to Pleasure Pier in Galveston.

The forecast for this Saturday is looking great, with partly sunny skies expected and a high temperature of around 70 degrees.
