Save Children’s Lives by Being Part of This Snowfall of Hope

There's a pretty good chance on Monday that we're going to see wintry weather for the second time this season. It has definitely been a crazy Winter so far.

I wanna take you back to the snowfall we had in early January.  If just a few flurries had fallen, it would have been no big deal.  It would have been neat to see a few flakes of snow falling from the sky, but none of them would have stuck to the ground.  However, the snowflakes just kept on falling and falling and getting heavier and that’s how we got that beautiful winter landscape.

That’s exactly how it works when you become a Partner in Hope with our KICKS 105 St Jude Radiothon presented by American State Bank.  $19 a month, around 60 cents a day, pledged by just a few people, is not going to do much to help kids beat cancer.  But, when you get thousands and thousands of East Texans unified and donating to this fight against cancer, that’s how we get where we are today.

We've been doing St. Jude Radiothons for over 20 years at KICKS 105, and well over $1.3 million has been raised to help kids beat cancer.  Thanks to this 'blizzard' of Partners in Hope through the years, locally and worldwide, the survival rates of childhood cancer have gone from 10 and 20 percent to 80 to 90 percent.  Kids are beating cancer, parents are getting their children back.

These life-saving treatments and protocols are shared FREELY with doctors, clinics, and hospitals throughout the world. Because of this, there are children in East Texas right now that are beating cancer thanks to the research and treatments coming from St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital  In our area along, thousands and thousands of kids, and now adults, are alive thanks to the numerous East Texans who have become Partners in Hope for just $19/month.
