The Bexar County Sheriff's Office Shared The Wild Details On Facebook.

According to a post on The Bexar County Facebook page, on November 20 at around 1:45 am, Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, Lytle Fire Department, and Bexar County Fire Marshal’s Office responded to an arson call.

The owner of the home reported that 23-year-old Senaida Soto broke into his home and set his house on fire.

Soto was reportedly in a romantic relationship with a family member of the home owner and she had FaceTimed her boyfriend, when another woman answered his phone. Soto became upset that another woman answered her boyfriend’s phone so she allegedly went to the boyfriend’s house, and that is when she allegedly lit the couch in the living room on fire.

She Also Recorded Video Of Her Burning The House Down

While the house was on fire, video was recorded and it was shown that she lit the couch on fire that spread, causing the home to go up in flames, as well as causing over $50,000 worth of damages. Soto also reportedly texted the boyfriend while the house was on fire and said “I hope your house is okay”.

Turns Out The Woman That Answered The Call Was A Relative Of The Boyfriend.

For her trouble of overreacting emotionally Ms. Soto is now in huge trouble. Soto was arrested and charged with Burglary Habitation - Force, 2nd degree felony and Arson, 1st degree felony. Trust your gut but use your brain first.
