Young Cowboy from Rusk Takes Night One of Mutton Bustin’ with 92 Point Ride

The first night of the Angelina Benefit Rodeo kicked off yesterday evening, and while folks gathered around to see horseback riding, bullfighting, and more ... We were excited to see the mutton bustin' kiddos!

Congratulations to Landen Myers, an 8-year-old cowboy from Rusk who rode the sheep named Miranda 'Lamb'ert for a score of 92 points.  Other great rides for the night included Andrez Montalvo of Diboll for a ride of 89 points, and Gauge Lopez of Lufkin for a ride of 88 points.
