Adopt A Wild Horse Or Burro At The Expo Center In Lufkin

The Bureau of Land Management is bringing the Wild Horse & Burro Adoption program to town.  The horses and burros are already at the George H Henderson Jr Expo Center on the North Loop in Lufkin. 

You're welcome to head out and take a look at the animals they've brought, but adoption will begin this afternoon (Thursday) at 2 and continue through Saturday.

Since 1973, the Bureau of Land Management has placed more than 225,000 of these living legends in approved homes across the country.
