I love posting a story like this. When someone from our Deep East Texas family is able to use his or her talents to help and serve folks in the Pineywoods, that's a good thing.

Amanda Allen is a Corrigan native who will be bringing her medical expertise to serve the residents of East Texas. According to a release from Woodland Heights Medical Center, Nurse Practitioner Amanda Allen is coming to Woodland Heights Primary Care at Diboll.

Allen is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner who specializes in general and preventative medicine for patients 13 years and over. She provides annual physicals, school and sports physicals, preventive care, geriatric medicine, as well as acute illness and chronic conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure. She is also stroke certified through the American Board of Neuroscience Nursing. Her focus is education and disease prevention.

“Having grown up in Corrigan, East Texas is my home,” states Allen. “I am so excited for the opportunity to provide healthcare for my friends and neighbors both in Diboll and beyond.”

Woodland Heights Primary Care is located at 202 South Temple Drive in Diboll.
