Have A Blessed Easter – What Bible Verse Gives You Strength Or Comfort? [AUDIO]

You normally don't see too many blogs or stories on a media website about God, Jesus, the Bible, or religion.  It seems to be taboo for many, some are scared to offend...that's ashame.

Easter should be celebrated as one of the most joyous and blessed times of the year. 

For us Christians, there is no more important event in our history, and our future.  It's an oversimplification, but because of Easter we have the opportunity for our sins to be forgiven and the gates of Heaven are opened to us.

I don't read the Bible nearly as much as I should, there are many things I do on a daily basis that I'm not proud of, but I take refuge in the Good Book.  I can always find at least one verse that makes me feel better about myself as well as the direction I should take to be a better person.

John 3:16 is one of most powerful and loved Bible verses...it's certainly one of my favorites.  I have many favorites, one of those that really comforts me and makes me feel better especially on days or weeks when I haven't given God my best actions is Matthew 11:28

“Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
