2012 Veterans Day Parades in Lufkin and Nacogdoches

This year the Veteran's Day parades in Lufkin and Nacogdoches will be held on the same day - Saturday, November 10.

In Nacogdoches, the parade will start at 11:00 a.m. and will originate from T.J.R. Elementary School and wind through the brick streets of downtown. For more information call: 936-560-7772

In Lufkin, the Annual Veteran's Day Parade will start at 10:00 a.m. and go through the historical downtown area.

Veterans Day is Sunday, November 11th, 2012. Schools and businesses will be closed on Monday, November 12 in honor of our veterans.

It’s a day when we honor those who are fighting and remember those who lost their lives defending our freedoms. Thank you to all of the veterans in east Texas!
