Sign Up for Mutton Bustin’ at the Angelina Benefit Rodeo

The 72nd Angelina Benefit Rodeo is coming up April 24th-27th at the George H. Henderson, Jr. Expo Center in Lufkin.  One of the nightly highlights is the mutton bustin' competition. Each night, 12 youngsters will try their best to get a high score while riding on a sheep.

Registrations are being taken at Boot Barn in front of the Lufkin Mall.  On Tuesday, April 23rd, contestants will be randomly drawn during the KICKS Road Show beginning at 3 p.m.  46 out of the 48 riders will be drawn in this fashion.  The other two riders will be drawn from the KICKS 105 app contest.

Riders must be between 5 to 9 years of age and weigh no more than 60 pounds.  Only one registration per visit is allowed at Boot Barn.
